My friend introduced an Australian to me long time ago.

He came to Japan several times at that time.

He couldn’t speak Japanese.

But he knew just one Japanese sentence.

” Where is a toilet ( restroom ) ? “ in English.

He said to me with a smile that it was very  important Japanese.

What do you say in Japanese? ( sorette nihongode nante iuno? )
