” There is ” ” There are ” Part1
” There are mane students in the classroom. ”
” There are many chairs in the classroom. ”
You say ” There is ” ” There are ” when express existence.
You use ” is ” on singular form, ” are ” on plural form.
On Japanese there is no difference between singular form and plural form.
But there is a difference between sentences to express persons and sentences to express things.
” There are mane students in the classroom. ”
” There are many chairs in the classroom. ”
